Women In Engineering
The IEEE Women in Engineering initiative has been established to promote achievements of women professionals in fields of interest to IEEE. WIE promotes membership growth and elevation of its members. Also, WIE gathers and disseminates information on the status of women in technology and science.
Young Professionals (YP)
Young Professionals is a vibrant community within the IEEE organization dedicated to supporting early-career engineers and technologists. This group offers a range of resources and networking opportunities, including workshops, mentorship programs, and career development events. By fostering collaboration and growth, IEEE Young Professionals helps members navigate the transition from academic life to professional success.
Student Activities
The SAC team consists of IEEE Volunteers who represent the voice of thousands of IEEE Student members. They constantly make recommendations to IEEE Region 7 and the Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Board, ensuring that the needs and interests of students are reflected in decision-making processes. Through organizing events, competitions, and leadership development programs, the SAC team actively engages with students, providing valuable opportunities for professional growth, networking, and skill-building.
